Refund & Cancellation Policy

At BookMyReservations, we connect you to global live flight inventories via advanced airline API integrations. Because all ticket reservations are executed directly with individual airline operators, refunds and ticket modifications are strictly governed by underlying carrier rules and the United States Department of Transportation (DOT) consumer frameworks.

1. US DOT 24-Hour Flexible Booking Rule

In accordance with federal consumer protection regulations enforced by the US Department of Transportation, any itinerary booked on BookMyReservations involving flights to or from a United States airport may be canceled without financial penalty within 24 hours of purchase, provided the reservation was made at least seven (7) days prior to the flight’s scheduled departure time.

2. Airline Ticket Classes & Restrictions

• Non-Refundable Tickets: Most promotional, economy, and basic retail fares are strictly non-refundable. If an airline permits cancellation on a non-refundable ticket, the carrier may issue a future travel credit voucher instead of cash back.
• Refundable Tickets: Premium or fully flexible fares can be returned for a full refund back to your original payment method, subject to airline administrative processing windows.

3. Processing Flight Changes

If you need to change your departure dates or destinations, our platform checks for real-time seat availability through our API integrations. Any price variance between your original ticket and the new selection will be passed along at checkout, alongside any mandatory change fees levied directly by the operating airline carrier.

4. How to Request an Update

To request a void, cancellation, or itinerary modification, please log into your digital dashboard under "Manage Bookings" or submit a formal validation ticket with your booking details directly to our helpdesk at support@bookmyreservations.com.
